Sonni Simon, Director of Advancement

Sonni Simon joined Hillel as the Director of Advancement in 2022, after spending more than a decade at the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County. Sonni’s accomplishments included re-establishing and growing the Federation’s Business and Professional Division; expanding its corporate sponsorship programs; and launching its Professional Jewish Women's Collective. From her early days as an enthusiastic Coleman camper and serving as president of her synagogue’s youth group in Hollywood, Florida, to staffing a Birthright trip, Sonni consistently brings passion, dedication, and creativity to everything she undertakes… especially when it comes to Israel and Judaism. When she’s not busy cooking up a storm for her family, reading, or listening to her favorite podcast, you might find her in a heated game of pickleball. Sonni resides in Parkland with her husband Jeff, sons Jake and Zack, and German Shepherd rescue, Hydro.
