Our Hillel provides opportunities for students to plan and participate in all major Jewish holidays. Our staff and student leaders work together to offer vibrant, pluralistic and engaging celebrations throughout the year - always including free Kosher food and, of course, great vibes.
This year, join us for festive Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur meals and services, Sushi in the Sukkah, Dancing in the Streets for Simchat Torah, a Chanukah food extravaganza, the world's fastest Megillah reading, an interactive and entertaining Passover Seder, and SO much more! You'll also catch us tabling outside Hillel to bring the holidays to the entire FAU community. We look forward to celebrating with you throughout the year.
Join us every other Friday here at FAU
Join us for a warm and welcoming Shabbat experience - always including a free kosher catered meal and a chance to spend quality time with new and old friends.
Rabbi Rose leads our lively egalitarian Shabbat service, and we are always excited to welcome students to lead services as well. Our student leaders plan and organize our fun themes each Shabbat. This year look forward to this year's Hispanic Heritage Shabbat, Friday Night Lights Football Shabbat, Birthright/Israel Shabbat, and many more. Come "get lit" with us on Fridays - our Shabbat is an amazing way to kick-start your weekend!
Enjoy a more intimate Shabbat scene? Want to celebrate Shabbat in the comfort of your own home? Get in touch with Rabbi Rose to apply to host a DIY Shabbat with friends any Friday night. We’ll provide the food, and tips and resources for hosting an awesome meal.
