Marcy Lippman, Associate Director of Development, Broward County

Marcy Lippman has had a long-standing career in the Jewish nonprofit world-including extensive relationships with Hillel both as a professional and volunteer. Marcy began her professional career as an intern at University of Miami Hillel while in graduate school. She then took on the role of Program Director for the five commuter campuses in Miami-Dade County. As a lay-leader, Marcy sat on the University of Florida Hillel Executive Board and the University of Michigan Parent Advisory Board.

Marcy has a long history in the Federation system having previously worked at the Miami Federation, where she started her career after graduate school, and the South Palm Beach Federation as well as stints at United Jewish Appeal, (JFNA). Most recently Marcy was the Vice President-Women’s Philanthropy at the Jewish Federation of Broward County. Marcy has a Master’s degree in Social Work from Yeshiva University’s Wurzweiler School, where she was a Jewish Welfare Board scholar. Marcy loves to interact with the people she leads, enhancing their experience and commitment to serve while forming a strong personal bond.

Marcy is an avid sports fan, fanatical about her Florida Gators, where she attended and met her husband, Steven. She definitely bleeds Orange and Blue! Marcy and Steven have two children, Bryan and Hannah, who are both busy pursuing their careers. They raised their family in Plantation. Marcy has been an active volunteer in her children’s school and social activities and has served on numerous Jewish organization boards in the community.
