Tax-wise planning (and giving) now can save you money in taxes in April and allow you to generously support the causes you care most about including an annual campaign or endowment gift to Hillel of Broward and Palm Beach.

IRA CHARITABLE ROLLOVER

If you are 70½ years old or older, you can take advantage of a simple way to benefit Hillel of Broward and Palm Beach and receive tax benefits in return. You can give up to $100,000 from your IRA directly to a qualified charity such as ours without having to pay income taxes on the money.  This law no longer has an expiration date, so you are free to make annual gifts to our organization this year and well into the future.

YOUR BENEFIT:

·  Make a gift using your Required Minimum Distribution and avoid paying income taxes on your donation.
· The amount you transfer does not count as income for the year, helping to keep you in  a lower income bracket.

TO QUALIFY:

· You must be at least 70 ½ year old when you make the transfer to Hillel of Broward and Palm Beach.
· The transfer must be directly from your IRA to Hillel BPB.  You may donate up to $100,000 (individually) or $200,000 (per married couple, as long as $100,000 is coming from each spouse’s individual IRA).
