Kasa Bainesay-Harbor assumed the role as Deputy Consul General at the Israeli Consulate in Miami in March 2019. Previously, she served as the Deputy Head of Mission at the Israeli Embassy in Wellington, New Zealand.  Before being assigned to New Zealand, Kasa served as the Deputy Head of Mission at the Israeli Embassy in Yangon, Myanmar. Kasa holds an M.A. from Tel-Aviv University in Public Policy and a B.A. from Hebrew University in the field of International Relations and Education. She is fluent in Amharic, Hebrew and English
