Sharon Brantwein, Jewish Agency Israel Fellow
Sharon Brantwein will serve as the Jewish Agency Israel Fellow. Originally from Ness Ziona, Israel, she was always excited to be part of the community involved in the local youth movement, youth parliament and head of student counsel. During her military service, Sharon served as an officer of social welfare for three years and released from the army with a certificate of excellence for her service. After the army, she joined the summer camp program of the Jewish agency as a summer shaliach at the JCC day camp in Atlanta, Georgia. Sharon also participated on Birthright four times. Sharon went onto study law at the Peres Academic Center. During her studies, she worked for the IAI (Israel Aerospace Industries) in the communication department. During her senior year she started pre-intern in law at courts in Rishon Letzion which is also where she did her full internship after she completed her law degree, closing more than two years in the courts system. Sharon is excited to join the Hillel team, meet staff and students, and bring her love of Israel to the campuses. In her free time, she loves Eurovision (European song contest), watches Ted Talks, and Harry Potter!
