Adam Kolett, Executive Director
Adam joined our Hillel team in June of 2016. Adam brings a wealth of relevant education and work experience to drive continued success and growth at our Hillel. He attained his MBA from Brandeis University at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management, and holds a MA in Jewish Professional Leadership from the Hornstein Program. Adam worked for seven years at the Greater Miami Jewish Federation in various roles, including Assistant Director of Community Planning and Director of the North Dade Branch. Having grown up in a variety of Jewish communities including Redlands, California and Memphis, Tennessee, Adam learned how inclusive and strong communities can help shape one’s life decisions. Prior to attending college, Adam participated on Young Judea's Year Course Program in Israel. He went on to the University of Texas and graduated as History major, Judaic Studies minor, and was an active participant in Hillel. Following college, he returned to Israel as a Young Judaea staff member, ultimately becoming an Assistant Department Director of Year Course. It was during those years working with college-aged students that Adam made the decision to dedicate his life’s work to the Jewish community. Adam also served in the Israel Defense Forces and eventually came back to the United States to pursue his career in Jewish communal work. Adam, his wife Francine, and his three children Matan, Aviva, and Noa live in Delray Beach.
