Adam also served in the Israel Defense Forces and eventually came back to the United States to pursue his career in Jewish communal work. Ashira Boxman, Engagement Associate, 561.297.4118
I am absolutely thrilled to be working at Hillel of Broward and Palm Beach. My life leading up to this moment, definitely influenced my decision to work at Hillel. I grew up in Baltimore, MD and then moved to Parkland, FL for high school. I attended different Jewish day schools throughout my life. During my junior year of High School, I spent a semester abroad in Israel attending NFTY-EIE High School in Israel. Along with attending Jewish day school, and NFTY EIE, my favorite place to spend my summers was at URJ Camp Harlam. I spent 7 summers there as a camper and 3 summers as a counselor. I also led my campers on an incredible trip to Israel through NFTY. I recently graduated from Florida State University, where I studied Family and Child Sciences. I look forward to pursuing my career in the Jewish world, while interacting with a variety of incredible individuals. I enjoy having picnics in parks, trying new restaurants (especially sushi places), spending time with family and friends, being at camp, and playing with puppies.
